Entries
Online entries on the Official OM DIE DAM App ONLY, through the secure electronic payment system on the App using your credit or debit card.
ZERO 50km and 21km at registration & Possible late 8km entries at Friday registration Only
There will be ZERO late entries at registration.
50km: Normal entry at R720 per athlete including a free T-shirt
Older than 60 years – R550 per athlete including a free T-shirt
Foreign runners is R800 – includes Temporary license numbers
Free – Those who have competed 25 races or more – please contact race office
21km: Normal entry at R370 per athlete including a free T-shirt & free bus ticket
8km: Normal entry at R120 per athlete.
No – only online entries are accepted and payment via Mastercard, Visa cards. There are no late entries possible.
You will receive an email to complete your entry – follow the steps to finalize your entry.
Entries for the 50km & 21km close once the race CAP are reached (3,500 of 50km & 2,500 for 21km) or on 31st of January 2026 whichever comes first.
- Substitution window. Between the 1st of February to the 15th of February 2026
- The substitution fee will be R50.
- In order to do a substitution, the athlete that want to substitute his race entry, as well as the athlete requiring an entry will need to go on the entry platform and select the substitution option. Please follow the instructions and pay the R50.
- The original entry fee of R720 for 50km or R370 for 21km wont form part of the substitution process, and this transaction will be between the athlete that want to substitute his race entry and the athlete requiring the entry. No exception to this.
- There will be NO FURTHER SUBSTITUTION POSSIBLE after 15th of February.
Race Day
50km Cut-off times: Runners who have not reached the following marks in the times specified will not be allowed to continue:
1st CO/15km: 2 hours, 6 minutes (08:00)
Halfway/25km 3 hours 30 minutes (09:30)
Marathon/42,2km 6 hours (12:00)
Finish line /50km 7 hours (13:00)
If you do not reach the cut-off points within the required time, you will be asked to retire from the Race and leave the road. YOU MAY NOT CONTINUE RUNNING.
21km Cut-off time
Finish line /21km 4 hours (10:00)
The race will continue in adverse weather conditions unless the safety officer deems it unsafe to continue. There are no refunds whatsoever.
Race Timing is done using FINISH TIME. Your race number will have a disposable CHIP at the back of the number.
Parking will be provided at the venue. Please note that parking is at your own risk. The organising committee may not be held responsible for theft or damage to any vehicle and its contents.
We recommend getting there as early as possible. Runners must be ready and, in the start, pens at least 15 minutes before their designated race start time.
The start line will be closed 15 minutes after the Gun is fired.

Yes, all 21km entries will have a free bus ticket that will transport any athlete from the Hartbeespoort Highschool to the 21km start as well as transport any athlete back to the start after the race – No cost involved.
03H30: 1st Bus to leave Hartbeespoort High School
05h00: Last bus to leave – No busses available after 05h00
As soon as the bus is full of athletes, the bus will leave immediately
Toilets will be available at the start, but no toilets on the route.
Yes, approximately every 3 kilometres.
Yes, they are welcome to come and watch you run. Spectators will also be able to track the race live on Facebook and YouTube.
Yes – all 50km and 21km entrants before the 31st of January will receive a sublimated t-shirt. After the 31st of January, there will be no t-shirts available.
Yes, all participants who finish the race within the specified cut off time will receive a race medal.
Race Pack
There will be three collection points and each athlete MUST select a collection point or choose that their race pack be posted using the couriers provided.
- Sunday 8th March 2026 – Pretoria from 10h00 to 14h00 at Macro Centurion
- Sunday 15th March 2026 – Johannesburg from 10h00 to 14h00 at Macro Woodmead
- Friday 20th March 2026 – Hartbeespoort from 12h00 to 20h00 at Hartbeespoort Builders
Uncollected packs will be forfeited and will not be available at Hartbeespoort
NO COLLECTION ON RACE DAY IS POSSIBLE
NOTE:
Please bring your race entry message, that will be send to your phone before collection, or ID Document when collecting your race pack.
If you are collecting a race pack on behalf of someone else, you should have a copy of his/her ID document available at collection.
All Uncollected packs will be sent to the next collection point.
ID, Driver’s License or Passport alongside Confirmation of registration on App & QR code
Yes, simply bring their App QR code with race number and a letter confirming that you may collect it.

All uncollected race packs will be sent to the next collection point and ultimately be available at the Friday collection in Hartbeespoort.
No Race Packs may be collected on Race Day.
